Team Processes & Performance (BA 802)

(BA 802 – Offered in the Smeal College of Business MBA program)

Organizations are increasingly structuring themselves around teams and other collaborative forms – presenting future managers with multiple challenges and opportunities. This course is designed to help students rise to these challenges and exploit these opportunities by building knowledge of team dynamics (e.g., cognition, coordination), the conditions surrounding them (e.g., culture, psychological safety), and core team skills (e.g., communication, conflict management, interpersonal). The course features experiential learning activities wherein participants will learn by engaging in and reflecting upon discussions, active learning, and team activities.
